Police fired tear gas to disperse protesters of the Inter-University Students Federation as they attempt to advance through a barricade at Polduwa junction near Parliament today (5).
The demonstration commenced in front of the Sri Jayewardenepura University demanding the resignation of the President and the Government.
The Inter-University Students Federation continued to occupy Parliament Road.
