SJB hands over two no-confidence motions to the parliament.
The opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) submitted two No-Confidence Motions (NCM) to the Speaker of Parliament today (3).
SJB MP Lakshman Kiriella said that one NCM has been submitted against President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, and the other is against the government.
In April, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa signed the no-confidence motion against the government and the impeachment motion to be submitted against the President.
The SJB is submitting the two motions to back the public’s calls for President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his Government to step down over the failed economy of Sri Lanka.
