#GotaGoGama: Police attempt to deploy riot unit

A tense situation arose at the GotaGoGama today (2) morning when
riot police were deployed in trucks to the site.
Police officers attempted to move in and remove a structure that was being set up at the protest site opposite the President’s Office.
Two trucks with riot police had entered the protest site which was confronted by the public who were engaged in peaceful protests.
Both police trucks were later forced to withdraw after the public confronted them and questioned the purpose of their arrival at a peaceful protest.
