“113” not enough to overcome the crisis – Ranil
UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe during a discussion with Bankers on Saturday has said that it was not possible to get out of this situation with the support of 113 members of parliament.

He pointed out that the support of at least 175 members was needed and tough decisions need to be taken to overcome the country’s economic woes caused by the dollar shortage and depreciation of the rupee.
However, the former Prime Minister said that even if the country is rebuilt together, it will not work if the programme is changed again.
He also said the private sector has contributed to aggravate this situation.
On the other hand, Wickremesinghe emphasized that the Parliament has not taken any viable decisions to address the current political issue.
He further said anyway if the people do not accept the decision taken by the Parliament it will not work and added the people want a revolutionary change and rulers should listened to it.
